The company has packaged its global payments infrastructure - finding exchange rates, transferring funds between two end points and meeting local compliance at both ends - by way of flexible, developer-friendly APIs. Its APIs are used by digital and payment companies to build products that allow businesses to pay money to each other around the world; or to enable payouts to individuals.On July 22nd, 2021, CurrencyCloud was acquired by Visa at a valuation of $962.8 million (700 million GBP).
