Walletron was started to allow brands to automate their brand presence in the emerging mobile wallet channel, focusing on the wallets native to the top mobile operating systems, Apple Wallet (formerly Passbook) on iOS and Android Pay (formerly Google Wallet) on Android. The company provides enterprise clients a single platform to fully automate the entire life cycle of each and every distributed wallet item. This approach enables clients to do what only a large scale IT project could provide.On May 9th 2019, Walletron was acquired by ACI. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
