TrustLeaf is a platform for early-stage entrepreneurs to turn their social capital into startup capital. TrustLeaf lets users first know what different types of funding they should concentrate their efforts on, including the various ways that friends and family can provide financing. TrustLeaf then provides an intuitive process to show off the user's business plan, gather feedback and commitments, document the loans with legal agreements, and track transactions online. TrustLeaf then uses this data to provide its users with expanded access to other funding options through its partnerships with institutional lenders.
