QTUM is an open-source technology that borrows key elements from each project, and is thus more of a union of both networks, even though it has its blockchain and investable token. Qtum is an open-sourced blockchain application platform. Qtum utilizes the UTXO model, solidity smart contracts, and proof-of-stake consensus to support a broad array of industries and use cases.
