Peppercoin, Inc. is developing the Peppercoin Pa yment Service, a new kind of payment service that allows digital merchants to sell content profitably at very low prices (less than $1.00). Peppercoin's technology was invented by the founders of the Cryp tography and Information Security Group at MIT's Laboratory for Computer Science, including the co -inventor of the RSA Public-Key Cryptosystem. Peppercoin is privately held and based in Waltham, Mass.
