GoodApril

GoodApril is a tax planning software solutions primarily targeted at freelancers and the self-employed. In August 2013, GoodApril was acquired by Intuit for less than $20 million. Notably, the company was part of the TechStars accelerator program and the acquisition occurred before demo day. Prior to acquisition, the company had been working on a tax preparation subscription product that individuals would use throughout the year to get recommendations on what investment and loan payment changes should be made in order to pay less in taxes.
